Story so far
Allie was Mission Jones’s first, brief romance and remained close to him. His father said she repeatedly asked about him, and Mrs. Crowe reported that she had asked whether he was single. Mission associated marriage to her with returning to farm life, while believing she wanted to care for him.
When Mission reached The Nest, Allie embraced him, reassured him and asked him to help with the desks. She shared fruit from her plot, told him about the curfew and reported Riley’s death after an attack on the farms. After Mission was shot, she pressed on his stomach wound and told him she loved him. She has since told him she is pregnant, with conception dated by the doctor to the previous month. She says every woman in her family within living memory has been named Allison and agrees that a son should be called Cam.
