Jimmy’s improvised carrying bag began as knotted overalls; his later exploration leaves the bag he carries soaked in floodwater.
Story so far
Jimmy made a backpack by knotting the arms and legs of spare overalls into loops and cinching the neck shut. He packed two cans each of sausage, pineapple, and tomato juice, together with a large kitchen knife whose tip was unbroken.
He later left the makeshift coveralls bag behind because its fabric was in worse condition than the clothes he wore. During his subsequent exploration as Solo, the pack he carries contains assorted objects collected since he left home the previous day. That bag gets wet when he falls into floodwater.

The original pack consists of spare overalls with knotted limbs forming loops and the neck cinched shut.
