A quiet, sorrowful winged Pink girl carved by Mickey, who tends Darrow through his agony and slips him a feather.
Evey is one of Mickey's carved "dreamthings," a Pink girl no older than Eo with white eagle wings grafted to her back, bound with a crimson ribbon. Bred for pleasure and kept to dance and be sold to the highest bidder, she is soft-faced, sorrowful, and almost wholly silent. Through Darrow's long remaking she changes his diapers and bathes him, cuts his hair, sits beside him through fever dreams, and walks his physical therapy at his side, the two sharing their demons in quiet.
When Darrow is finished she calls him beautiful, touches his golden Sigils, kisses his head, and slips one of her feathers into his pocket. She stirs in Darrow the memory of another girl he failed to protect, and he threatens Mickey to give her a plush life and never make her dance again.
A young Pink girl near sixteen, soft and sad-faced with willowy arms, bred beautiful for pleasure; white eagle wings sprouting from her back, bound with a crimson ribbon, moving with quiet grace.
A carved winged Pink who cares for Darrow and awakens his protective grief.
