Story so far
Mr. Bingley marries Jane Bennet and remains at Netherfield Park for a year before buying an estate in a county neighbouring Derbyshire. The move gratifies his sisters and places Jane and Elizabeth within thirty miles of one another, while also giving the new household needed distance from Longbourn and Meryton.
Bingley's kindness remains broad enough to be tested by Lydia and Wickham's lengthy visits; even he eventually considers hinting that they should leave. His marriage to Jane rests on affection, similar temper, and the freedom to trust his own judgment after Darcy's former interference is confessed and forgiven.
