Overse

Dr. Overse

Overse helps stabilize Murderbot, analyzes the residue trapping ART in-system, and remains aboard with Arada as colony planning replaces combat.

Story so far

Overse brings the portable feed-isolated medical equipment needed to treat Murderbot without spreading contaminated code. She helps coordinate the repair effort while ART prepares to isolate and clean the SecUnit’s active consciousness.

After the immediate treatment, Overse works in ART’s engineering pod with Matteo, Tarik, and Kaede on scans of the remnant residue still attached to the transport’s drive. Their conclusion is sobering: a university decontamination team must clear ART before it can safely enter another wormhole.

Overse remains aboard ART with Arada and Ratthi after Preservation’s responder arrives. Her mission has shifted from extracting crew under fire to assessing contamination and planning what medical and technical aid the colony will require.

Appearance

Overse is an adult woman of undescribed features and build wearing clean practical field-medical clothing, working among engineering displays with an exhausted, methodical demeanor.

Role

Overse is the rescue group’s bridge between medicine and systems decontamination. She remains with ART to help convert survival into a workable recovery plan.
