A blunt, bellicose Telemanus Howler who survives the Mercury disaster and keeps the castaways' repair work moving from their hidden base.
Thraxa au Telemanus is a Gold Howler and a veteran of the Republic's shattered Mercury campaign. She is trapped with Darrow and the survivors on Marcher-1632, where her immense build prevents her from fitting the available space suits.
Unable to join the external repair crews, Thraxa coordinates their shifts from the old Sons of Ares base. She greets the deadening monotony with profane impatience, but her practical orders protect the workers from an early, dangerous sunrise and keep the Archimedes repair advancing.
A prodigiously built Gold woman whose thighs are too large for the castaways' available space suits. Her presence is conveyed through a commanding voice and the physical force implied by her reputation.
Thraxa is one of Darrow's surviving Howlers and the immediate supervisor of the stranded repair crews.
