Story so far

The Knight is the Canterbury's shuttle. Its landing gear needs new seals before it can safely operate in atmosphere, but Naomi Nagata confirms it is sound for vacuum flight. James Holden takes the Knight with Alex, Naomi, Amos, and Shed to inspect the Scopuli, keeping its drive ready for a rapid escape.

Appearance

A small utility shuttle with a cockpit, command console, airlock, and fusion reactor, the Knight is adapted for close maneuvering on superheated-steam thrusters when near other vessels.

Role

The Knight carries the investigation team from the Canterbury to the derelict ship.
