A Ceres import-export concern and suspected criminal front implicated in moving stolen Star Helix riot gear off station.
Corporaçõ do Gato Preto, known as Black Cat, presents itself as an import-export business on Ceres. Miller had previously investigated it as a possible front for the Loca Greiga criminal network without securing proof.
Evidence supplied by Anderson Dawes shows that fictitious Star Helix personnel signed riot gear out to a Ceres dock while a Black Cat freighter was berthed there. Its docking logs indicate the ship later arrived at Ganymede lighter than expected after a longer-than-predicted transit, suggesting the gear and likely personnel were transferred to another vessel en route. The company is therefore a concrete link between Ceres's disappearing criminal order and an off-station armed operation.
The faction is represented by working freighters, warehouse logistics, dock paperwork, and the unobtrusive commercial face of an import-export firm rather than a public headquarters.
Black Cat is the suspected criminal conduit through which stolen Ceres security equipment leaves the station.
