Gorgo

The Duke's Obsidian enforcer, who snipes Ephraim through his own master—killing the Duke to try to stop the children's escape.

Story so far

When Ephraim fights out of the lair with the children and the Duke of Hands as a shield, Gorgo takes position three stories up with a long rifle. Rather than let his quarry escape, he fires straight through the Duke's body to hit Ephraim in the chest—killing his own master in the process, the smile he gave earlier explained: he was never truly the Duke's man. He keeps firing as the children flee aboard the Hornet, clipping Ephraim's earlobe, before Electra's covering fire drives him back.

Cold and lethal to the last, he lets the Syndicate's prizes slip away rather than spare the Duke.

Appearance

An enormous Obsidian with a bloodless pale face, beetle-black eyes and unbound white hair; glimpsed behind a long sniper barrel through a shattered plate-glass window.
