Sophocles

Kavax au Telemanus's oversized, doted-upon pet fox, an omen-reading companion in House Telemanus.

Story so far

Sophocles is Kavax au Telemanus's beloved fox, a sharp-eared red-gold creature that flinches at his master's booming voice yet nuzzles into his thick red beard and eats jelly beans from his enormous palm. Far larger than a wild fox at nearly thirty-five kilograms, he is more wolflike in size, with a white chest, black legs, and dark russet fur. At Kavax's command to 'Investigate!' he sniffs out Darrow, weaving through his legs and rooting two jelly beans from his pocket—an act Kavax joyfully proclaims a 'magical' omen of approval, though Daxo planted the beans himself.

Appearance

A large, hardy fox near thirty-five kilograms, wolflike in size, with a white chest, black legs, and dark russet fur, sharp-eared and quick-eyed.
