Story so far

Once a Red Helldiver of Lykos, Darrow watched his wife Eo hang for singing a forbidden song, then let the Sons of Ares Carve him into a Gold to rise against the Society. Having stormed Olympus to win the Institute, he swore himself to Nero au Augustus—the very ArchGovernor who killed Eo—so that he might burn the man's house down from the inside. He walks off the mountain as Augustus's prize while the Bellonas glare their blood feud across the snow, and Mustang takes his hand, laying all his lies heavy on his heart.

Appearance

Twenty, tall and broad-shouldered, with long Golden hair and bloodshot golden eyes; a sharp face with cheeks and nose like angry marble, bearing the angled scar of the Peerless Scarred.

Role

Protagonist; a disguised Red serving as Lancer of House Augustus, secretly bent on toppling the Society for the Sons of Ares.

Relationships

EoBk 1 — His martyred Red wife, hanged for singing the forbidden song; her dream of a free Mars is the engine of everything he does.

Nero au Augustus — His Gold master, whom he serves as prize and lancer while secretly plotting to destroy him for killing Eo.

Mustang — His love from the Institute and Augustus's daughter, to whom he gave a horse-crested ring; her hand on his lays his lies heavy on his heart.

Sons of AresBk 1 — The rebellion that Carved him into a Gold; he has heard nothing from them since winning the Institute.
