Story so far

Palisade is the security company whose unfamiliar shoulder logo Murderbot spots on a twenty-three-strong team of armed operatives forming up, with forty-seven drones, to board the transport Ship at HaveRatton Station. Murderbot tags the logo, runs an image search, and identifies the company as Palisade—an expensive private force contracted onto HaveRatton, watched warily by the station's own security. Intercepted comm traffic confirms they are hunting a rogue SecUnit with no controller.

Their cost and firepower far exceed anything a routine evidence search would require, marking them as a serious and well-funded threat, plausibly acting for GrayCris.
