Anna's Message

Anna’s urgent message led Donald to the Pact document; he now says he understood her request for help too late.

Story so far

The message in Paul Thurman’s account bore the subject “Urgent—The Pact” and the notation “Locket 20391102,” but no listed send date. Donald initially searched for a locket among the stored effects and found none. He later noticed that the number resembled the labeling on a bag of personal effects and suspected that “locket” should have referred to a locker.

Following the number through the lockers led Donald to a folder containing RE: THE PACT, whose subject wording matched Anna’s message. The note also asked for her to be awakened. Donald now describes it as Anna Thurman’s plea for his help, left in her father’s inbox, and says he recognized its meaning too late.
