Story so far

Jahns proposed a power holiday for maintenance and to commemorate cleaners. Juliette wanted it announced while the post-cleaning mood lasted and made it a condition of accepting the sheriff’s job. The resulting brownout closed most merchants, while severe restrictions elsewhere largely compensated for IT’s exemptions and a nurse reported hectic nursery work.

By the fourth day, the refit faced a deadline to run the generator the next morning and restore full power the following evening. The holiday also caused a week of rising temperatures that threatened the servers. Juliette now proposes a slight power holiday to avoid running the main generator at full load.

Role
