Chapter 9
- Tally is a Bopca Protector at Level 63, the non-combatant caretaker NPC of the First Level Safe Room, wearing a blue apron, paper hat, and nametag.
- He is a hairy, gnome-like creature with brown green-tinged hair, a red-veined bulbous nose, black eyes, and a Slavic accent, who smells of wet moss and barely moves when speaking.
- He cooks food for crawlers, served Carl Murgh Vindaloo at spice level four, and treats Donut as royalty, special-ordering salmon for her.
- When a floor collapses he moves to a random lower floor, continuing down until he is no longer needed.
- He had his lamb taken for a mob being prepared for the second floor, and he forbade Carl from smoking inside.
Chapter 10
- Tally runs the Safe Room restaurant and prepares food for Carl and Donut.
- He only answers questions directly relating to the Safe Rooms and refuses general dungeon questions.
- He advises that a purchased personal space transfers from level to level and from safe space to safe space, and that accessories like a crafting table should be bought early because some only upgrade when bought before descending levels.
Chapter 14
- Tally watches the premiere with Carl and Donut and explains how alien television and the show's formats work.
- Tally is not a crawler; his world was offered the chance to give up people in exchange for not being mined, and he left with the aliens long ago.
- Tally despises the prior season's setup where players were told their loved ones would be safe if they killed others.
