character

Mina Murray

Miss Mina Murray · Mina · Mina Harker · Mrs. Harker · Madam Mina · one of God's women · flesh of my flesh · blood of my blood · the train fiend

Seven years free of the curse, Mina is Jonathan's happy wife and Quincey's mother, remembered as the woman the company dared everything to save.

Story so far

Mina Harker survives Dracula's blood bond, using the imposed connection, her compiled evidence, and her own analysis to guide the hunters home. Dracula's destruction removes her scar and restores her fully, preserving both soul and marriage.

Seven years later she and Jonathan Harker raise Quincey Harker. Mina believes the child carries something of Quincey Morris's brave spirit because he was born on the anniversary of the Texan's death. Her sweetness, care, intelligence, and courage remain the moral center through which the survivors understand their shared past.

Appearance

A sweet-faced, dainty adult English woman with a clear unscarred forehead and warm human expression; her hair and coloring remain undescribed.

Role

Mina is the rescued future and enduring moral center of the history, now free to live as wife, mother, archivist, and proof of collective love.
