Meadow Lark

The flamethrower kill zones somebody built just in case turn out to be the backbone of the defence.

Story so far

Meadow Lark is not named in the chamber, but the work is everywhere in it. The flamethrower squads that hold station 36's four chokepoints — set up in defensive positions, uprooted to follow the party in, then reset on Imani C's order in a ring around the portal — are the kill-zone doctrine that was being prepared at the choke points before anyone knew what was coming. Against monsters whose one reliable weakness is fire, the whole day turns on them: incoming groups of twenty die in seconds to the hot whoosh of the flamers.

Role

The architect of the flamethrower chokepoint doctrine now holding the line.

Relationships

Imani C — Commands the squads built on her doctrine.
Tserendolgor — One of the operators working a forward position.
Krakaren Juvenile Cloneling — The enemy the doctrine turns out to be perfect against.
