The floor the team enters at book's end, split into Land, Sea, Air and Subterranean quadrants with chosen opponents.
Borant Corporation opened paid voting on the fifth floor's theme, and while Odette refuses to name the winner she teases that the audience will not be able to complain about the layout being complicated this time, that the possibilities are almost endless, and that she is glad the team has all those crafting tables. The preview video is blurred so the crawlers cannot see it.
Entry is gated by a stark warehouse room with four one-way doors and two wheels. The team leader must spin the first to choose a quadrant from Land, Sea, Air and Subterranean, and the second to choose an opponent. Princess Donut spun Air, hovering agonizingly over Sea before ticking one notch further, then drew the Dirigible Gnome Wasteland Fortress from a field that also included the Razor Fox Kite City, the Nightgaunt Precipice and the Great Dirt Island of the Wind Sirens. The door that opened revealed a dune-swept desert, hot wind and stinging sand pouring into the room. Odette also mourns that the floor will end the era of crawlers banding together as they did on the fourth.
Entered through a stark warehouse room of one-way doors and two fortune wheels; the team's own doorway opens onto a dune-swept desert under a hot, sand-laden wind.
The crawl's next stage, entered as a siege scenario against a chosen enemy in a chosen quadrant.
