Story so far
Carl examines Li Na properly for the first time and reads her class off the display: Slave Driver, level 30, race Changbi. He calls the name ominous-sounding and the fighting bears it out. She fights with at least four chains that ratchet out of the armholes of her robe — one that catches fire, one that throws wind blades when swung overhead like a lasso, one that immobilises.
The chain lasso knocks a ManTauR neighbourhood boss unconscious for a full minute, and she says she can do it four more times before she has to rest. The class also carries a passive nobody wants to test: touching her hand causes excruciating pain throughout the whole body and loss of bladder and bowel control.
