Crane Crasher

the Crane Crasher · the bird thing

The first tag Bautista ever pulled, and it did everything wrong immediately.

Story so far

Daniel Bautista discovered what the stuffed figures do entirely by accident. Sitting in a safe room playing with one — a bird thing called a Crane Crasher — the tag came off in his hands. It came to life there, flew to the ceiling screaming, attacked a member of his party, and then teleported away.

It is the cautionary example that frames everything he later learned: the summons are real creatures, some of them do not obey you, and you have no idea how big or how mean one will be until it is already in the room with you.

Appearance

A screaming bird-thing that appeared full-sized in a man's hands and went straight for the ceiling.

Role

Bautista's accidental first summon and the reason he treats every unfamiliar figure as a live grenade.

Relationships

Daniel Bautista — Summoned it by accident, watched it attack his own party, and learned the mechanic from it.
Atwin — The next figure he opened, who actually explained what he had been doing.
