Lajabless
A day/night-split race: beautiful mage by day, skull-faced brute by night, cursed with a goat leg.
Story so far
Lajabless is the rare, unsettling race Lucia Mar chose on the third floor. Its holder spends half the day as a beautiful woman — with doubled magic ability (spells cost half) but halved strength — and the other half as a skull-faced, 'lady Skeletor' monstrosity, with costlier magic but doubled strength. The transformation grows a young holder into a full adult and leaves one right leg a hairy, cloven-hoofed goat limb, forcing a permanent limp.
Despite the harsh downsides, Mordecai suspects hidden benefits make it worthwhile for a top crawler.
Appearance
A humanoid woman alternating between great beauty and a skull-faced horror, with one human leg and one hairy, cloven-hoofed goat leg.
Role
An exotic, high-tradeoff race defined by its day/night power split.
