A worshipper prays, the god comes to fight for him, and the worshipper dies anyway.
The first of the three deity summonings named in Crawler Coolie's 19th-edition note in The Dungeon Anarchist's Cookbook: a worshipper prays to a god and the god comes to fight for his worshipper. Like both other types it requires a physical vessel, usually a mob. Coolie's verdict is blunt — in his short experience all three scenarios lead to the summoner's death, even this one.
Only idiots deal with deities.
The willing form of god-summoning, and by the Cookbook's account no safer than the others.
