Story so far

Mongo is a Male Mongoliensis — a roughly seven-inch pink-feathered dinosaur-chicken that Carl and Princess Donut won as a pet-class mob on an earlier floor and painstakingly domesticated. On Odette's show he behaved (mostly), perching on Donut's shoulder before biting off a bow tie and chomping her tail. Odette revealed the translation quirk behind his species name: 'Mongoliensis' is the scientific name for what humans call a velociraptor, meaning the vicious little biter will grow into an apex predator.

Descending to the Over City with the party, he napped nervously in Carl's lap during Donut's class selection, whimpering with concern for his 'Mommy.'

Appearance

A roughly seven-inch dinosaur-chicken with pink feathers, a beak, and far too many teeth; vicious when provoked, food-motivated, prone to biting noses and tails.

Role

Princess Donut's bonded pet and future war-mount; comic menace and fierce fighter-in-training.

Relationships

Princess Donut — His bonded 'Mommy,' whom he adores, obeys, and constantly bites; she trained him to perch quietly and behave on camera.

Carl — His wary 'Uncle,' in whose lap he naps — teeth uncomfortably near Carl's crotch.
