A green Martian Marine private with a Mariner Valley drawl, beheaded by the monster at the dome door.
Private Gourab is the newest, greenest member of Bobbie Draper's squad on Ganymede, barely in the Marines and grumbling in his Mariner Valley drawl about make-work patrols. When the monster overruns the platoon, he ends up the last Marine still with Bobbie at the dome's external door; in his final act he shoves her backward to safety and hammers at the door controls before the creature peels off his helmet and tears off his head.
A young Martian Marine in powered combat armor, his face visible through the helmet's armored glass in his last moments.
The rookie in Bobbie's squad whose death she witnesses up close.
