During the Martian surrender he approaches Captain Pa with two angry Martians and reports contraband among the incoming personnel, emphasizing their status as prisoners. Her retreat gives Bull the first warning, but the pair capture the office, lock legitimate command out of security systems, and open the armory and communications network to the counter-mutiny.
