Story so far
Retractable Legs — 'spider legs' — is the first upgrade Hedy installs on the Big Shot Chicken food truck after Heat One. Deployable only when needed, the legs let the boxy truck climb walls and clamber over obstacles, and they're fast (though not as fast as the alternatives) and not meant to run continuously. Hedy recommends them over the Hover Upgrade (nearly twice as fast, with a modern engine, but no vertical climb) and the always-on All-Terrain-Tire Upgrade (grippy vertical climb but a 25% speed cut and fixed reach).
