Story so far
The silo’s displayed view shows low brown hills beneath a dull gray sky. Holston initially saw green ground and flying creatures through his helmet, but outside its display the grass was brown, the sky gray, and toxins were killing him. Juliette described two cleaners lying together in a hollow, with roughly a dozen other remains in varying stages of decay.
Beyond the familiar hill, Juliette found dust, dry earth and wind flurries among repeating circular hollows. She told Solo that the outside remained unsafe. During her return journey, fierce winds drive dust across jagged rocks beneath gray clouds, and fifty evenly spaced silo depressions extend toward the horizon.
