Juliette's Air Compressor

The portable compressor supplied Juliette’s diving air before failing; she later burned it for warmth and now suspects it was attacked.

Story so far

Juliette prepared a large wheeled compressor to supply air to her underwater suit and planned to teach Solo how to start and refuel it. During the dive, it fed air through a hose and collar adapter, vibrating the landing despite its rubber tires. When her air stopped, she suspected a compressor problem. It was silent when she emerged from the flooded stairwell.

The compressor lay on its side with its hose kinked underneath and fuel leaking from its cap. Juliette set it alight to warm herself, with its burning wheels sustaining the fire between additions of fuel. Recalling its overturned condition, she now suspects it was attacked even more heavily than Solo.

Appearance

A large portable compressor with rubber tires and trailing hoses. It was found overturned with a kinked hose and leaking fuel, then set on fire; its wheels burned.

Role

Formerly the source of Juliette’s diving air, it became fuel for the fire she used to warm herself after surfacing.

Relationships

Juliette — Juliette prepared it for her dive and burned it for warmth after its failure.
