Heat-Tape Blanket
Juliette shelters beneath the heat-tape blanket through the airlock fire, but judges it insufficient to save the cleaner in his inferior suit.
Story so far
The blanket is made from strips of heat tape with their edges sealed using a torch. Juliette requires at least an inch of overlap between strips and takes the finished blanket with her after suiting up.
In the airlock, Juliette pins its edges beneath her knees and feet to form a seal. She judges that it cannot keep the cleaner alive in his inferior suit, and remains under it until the fire ends.
Appearance
A blanket assembled from overlapping strips of heat tape, with torch-sealed joins and at least an inch of overlap.
Role
It is an improvised protective covering carried by Juliette.
