Sims

Sims heads IT security and is reported among those completing the suppression of the uprising.

Story so far

Formerly a technician, Sims moved into other duties as his size increased and now heads IT Security. Bernard Holland directs him to refill Jahns and Marnes’s canteens. He later takes Juliette’s wooden box and suggests that luck might explain her survival. He is also named as executor of Bernard’s will.

Before the attack on IT, Sims shoots out the conference-room window, warns defenders about rifle recoil, and silences chatter. Peter Billings later reports that he leads half a dozen men into the stairwell. Sims considers an ongoing threat sufficient reason to confine Lukas; according to Bernard, he also doubts technicians’ loyalty and investigates possible leaks.

Peter says Sims’s men plan to blast apart Mechanical’s wall. His team subsequently loses several men in an explosion involving a stairwell other than the main staircase. Radio reports now place him among those finishing the suppression.
