The other silo’s airlock contains charred remains, a corroded vent connection, and an inner door with dry seals.
A corpse is caught between the partly open outer doors of the airlock. Inside lie charred bones and ash from people caught in its cleansing fire. The inner door is sealed and has a thick glass porthole; a bench fixed to the back wall hangs from two chains. Toxic air has corroded the connection between a pipe and the vent.
The inner door’s seals are dry, and it is secured by a large locking wheel.
