Story so far
Walker examined the disassembled radio across his workbench after it failed to receive messages despite constant power and functioning speakers. He ruled out its battery and investigated a small circuit board connected by ribbon cables and marked with a white sticker numbered 18. He suspected that board cleaned up the signal.
After Walker modified the radio, a new control changed the static and revealed a conversation involving the unfamiliar Deputy Roberts. It received eleven strong signals that Walker believed originated outside his own silo. Later, Juliette found the radio in her recovered gear bag as Walker called her name. Solo now carries it on his hip and pulls it free after seeing the floodwater recede.
