character

Astrid

Remembered only in Carl's litany of irrevocable moments as the one Katia killed.

Story so far

When Juice Box explains The Inevitable Ruin, Carl runs down the list of moments that cannot be taken back. Among them is Katia, and that moment when she killed Astrid.

Carl offers the memory as evidence that such moments are real, then rejects the curse's conclusion: these were the moments they could not take back, but that does not mean nothing can be done to change their fates.

Role

The victim in one of the chapter's named points of no return.
