Primal

Fully Primal · Going Primal

The state Orren says Growler Gary has fully entered, making him unstoppable and letting him break his containment.

Story so far

Orren opens the negotiation by conceding the situation in plain terms: the thing in Growler Gary has gone fully primal, and they cannot stop it. Going primal is treated as a threshold rather than a buff — once crossed, it also let the entity break free of its containment, which is what forces the showrunners to bargain instead of dictate.

What primal looks like in practice is on display all through the meeting. It grants supernatural physical force, enough to crack a hardwood desktop with a flat palm, and a voice loaded with impossible bass. It also rides a host body: when the primal presence departs, Growler Gary simply collapses in a heap, wakes up drunk and disoriented at level 175, and teleports away.

Role

The condition that makes the primal power uncontainable and forces Orren to negotiate on its terms.
