Jamal's Automaton Harness
The mechanical rig letting Jamal climb walls and operate a flamethrower, whose nozzle can face the wrong way.
Story so far
The harness let Jamal skitter vertically up the honeycomb wall of The Reaver Castle like a spider and hold position in the middle of it. Its mounted flamethrower is not foolproof: his first excited burst came out with the nozzle still facing backward and nearly roasted Elle below him, prompting a florid apology and a rearrangement of the nozzle.
Once properly aimed, he poured fire into hole after hole across the wall, setting off explosions deep inside. The rig also let him leap clear of the wall, land deftly, and perform a ballerina-like midair twirl. Its legs, however, were absolutely wrecked by the initial No Disassemble EMP Bomb pulse, leaving him flopping on the ground.
Appearance
A mechanical harness strapped around a shark's body, carrying articulated climbing limbs and a repositionable flamethrower nozzle.
Role
Jamal's mobility and weapon platform, and the only party gear disabled by the EMP.
