Tech Shield
Carl's personal shield, kept active to fend off the burning hail of rock falling after the castle explodes.
Story so far
As rock pieces continue to rain from the sky and land all around the group like burning hail, Carl keeps his tech shield on while he checks on Elle and loots the battlefield.
The falling debris is severe enough — Florin describes ute-sized flaming rocks hitting his own position — that the shield is simply left running throughout the aftermath.
