Story so far
Alongside the Artillery Batteries, occasional bursts of sniper fire are the constant threat at the Southern Front. When a Prism Kingdom saboteur flooded a crawler escape tunnel with an Instant River Scroll, a few soldiers leaped out of the trench as the water poured in and were immediately picked off by snipers from the enemy side — despite the heavy fog.
Their accuracy through the Obfuscation Spells is precisely why the crawlers depend on Magical Periscopes rather than looking over the parapet, and why the loss of those screens would be so costly.
