Story so far
After the mage-raised Earthworks Wall halts the rolling Juiced Rot Sticker Behemoth charge at the Southern Front, some of the pets ramp off it and launch into the air. Only a few look likely to land on the crawler side; one detonates in mid-air far down the line, showering gore over the trench.
The rest crash back down and disappear behind the wall — where thorns as thick as Carl's arm sprout from the dirt and encompass them, pinning the survivors on the enemy side of the barrier just before The Frothing Tunnel Moles blow the entire line.

Thorns as thick as a man's arm bursting from packed earth to engulf whatever lands among them.
