Panther deity who appeared at Club Vanquisher; a changeling touched her and died before escaping.
Bast is the panther god, one of the deities who manifested during the events at Club Vanquisher. Team Retribution had positioned changelings in the venue just in case gods appeared — they did not cause the appearance, by Juice Box's account, but they were ready to exploit it. One of them succeeded in physically touching Bast, and then died before she could get clear.
The attempt cost the changelings three of their number overall, and left them with only a single member who has ever successfully touched a deity and survived — and that one, Juice Box admits, is 'wrong.' Bast therefore stands as the clearest evidence of both the prize Changelings are chasing and the price it exacts, the specific failure that makes Justice Light's offer to teach them how to touch a god and live so valuable.
Not described in this account beyond her identity as the panther god.
The deity whose touching cost a changeling her life and demonstrated the danger of Team Retribution's true goal.
