Home Base Anti-Air Battery

Home base anti-air

The castle's anti-air emplacement, blown up in the sabotage that opens the paratrooper attack on the base.

Story so far

Among hundreds of trap notifications from the northern front — which Carl filters into silence — one survives: a Silent Alarm Trap labeled "Home base Anti-Air Battery" has been triggered. Carl is already running before he finishes the sentence, and a moment later the walls shake with an explosion and the system reports the battery destroyed.

The loss, paired with the destruction of the Castle Hangar Bay, strips the base of air defense exactly as Boomer reports unfamiliar flyers moving low and fast toward the castle. Those turn out to be transports, not bombers, and the paratroopers they carry get through the protections into the Stronghold.

Role

Home-base air defense whose sabotage clears the sky for the enemy paratrooper drop.
