Talk show host whose program was where Carl first met Empress D'Nadia and briefly believed she was decent.
Ripper Wonton's show is the setting of the memory that surfaces as Carl stands over the marked Empress D'Nadia. It was there they first met: she sat next to him, tried to hold his hand, and cried when Manassa was assassinated.
The show functions as the stage on which D'Nadia built the sympathetic public persona that Carl later learned was cover for her attempt to buy into Faction Wars as a crawler hunter.
