You in My House Now, Boy!

You in my house now, boy achievement

Achievement for fighting a god inside their own temple, with the reward explicitly withheld.

Story so far

Awarded for entering a god's temple, angering that god to their face — in this case to the weird-ass bug body and head that the announcer cannot stop marveling at — and then fighting that god in their own temple. The reward is None, because, as the announcement puts it, Carl's ass was saved by another god.

That was true: Hellik arrived and banished Khepri before he could do anything to Carl. Katia and Prepotente received the same achievement. Carl finds it irritating that he got nothing for it after blasting Khepri with a bomb twice and being permanently Marked for Death by Khepri — though he suspects that mark will not last long, since Khepri's original description hinted at what is currently happening on The Twelfth Floor: Khepri and Odette's Nekhebit belong to the same sub-pantheon, and someone is going through and killing off every god in the group.

Role

Achievement documenting the temple fight against Khepri and the divine rescue that voided the reward.

Relationships

Carl — Recipient, annoyed at the null reward.

Khepri — The god fought in his own temple.
