Cam was Mission's friend and fellow porter, killed after a delivery near the blast above level one-seventeen.
Cam and Mission Jones worked together as Porters, though they had not yet mastered synchronized tandem hauling. Cam lost the coin toss that let Mission lead a body delivery and set their pace, then left after receiving a tip. He knew nothing of the porters' planned midnight rendezvous.
Katelyn later said that Cam had requested a delivery toward Supply. She remembered him as unusually cheerful, although annoyed that he had missed the previous night's adventures, and believed his last load was a broken computer. After the explosion, Mission suspected Cam's delivery had taken him to the blast level and feared he was among those who fell. Cam died after delivering a package, and Mission reported his death to the other porters.
Robbie nevertheless reported that Cam was among those being sought after a fight at Central. During the climb upstairs, Mission remembers Cam leaving the farm sublevels with a bonus the previous day; Cam has now been lost in the blast above the One-Hundred-Seventeenth Level.
He is a porter whose death Mission reports to their colleagues.
