Remmy, formerly Father Wendel’s acolyte and now addressed as Father Remmy, burns books and attacks Juliette before his own robes catch fire.
Remmy served as Father Wendel’s acolyte, preparing chapel seating and handwritten announcements between services. He then wore a brown cloak with the center of his scalp shaved.
Later addressed as Father Remmy and dressed in white, he pressured Elise to reveal where the books were kept, framing disclosure as a religious duty and declaring that only one book was valid while all others were lies. He tightened his hold when she tried to withdraw her hands and learned that the books were on level thirty-four. After she signed, he pronounced a marriage in the name of the Pact.
In Solo’s hiding place beneath the servers, the young priest fed books into a fire. When Juliette tried to extinguish them, he attacked her and held her down. His white robes caught fire during the struggle, and he lost his grip after being kicked. His fate after releasing her is not established.
Remmy is a young priest with green eyes and a bald circle on the crown of his head. He now wears white robes, replacing his earlier brown cloak.
A priest who enforces his claim that other books are lies, Remmy has used religious pressure on Elise and violence against Juliette.
