Story so far
Mechanical’s upper entrance lies at level one-forty. Its tight corridors have primed, unpainted concrete walls and exposed overhead pipes and conduits. Earlier accounts place Mission Jones’s failed hanging attempt in the lower stairwell and record a rumor that a blackout began with an explosion in Mechanical.
Juliette’s later digging shakes dust from the halls and rattles their pipes. As the current emergency develops, residents initially continue their everyday work without knowing what is happening. The steel plating that once sealed the security area has been removed.
