Story so far
George worked in Mechanical and never married. Juliette found him dead there, and Holston and Marnes investigated the death. Although she helped solve the case, it was classified as an industrial accident. Later, Lukas identified the deceased mechanic as the likely subject of Juliette’s poem to George; at that point George had been dead just over three years and would have been thirty-eight.
Bernard Holland subsequently named George Wilkins as a mechanic whose ideas he considered dangerous. According to Bernard, George and others drew plans to extend the silo downward to levels one-fifty and one-sixty, and Bernard acknowledged that George had been deliberately killed. His loss devastated Juliette for a year. Even now, imagining him seeing her scars makes her emotional.
