Harper moves from refinery work into fighting and becomes Jenkins’s second-in-command after Pieter is killed. According to Shirly, the two men disagree over whether to shut off the silo’s power.
After a blast, Harper helps Shirly stand and urges her and Walker to leave. He later confirms that the stairwell has been rigged to explode once the attackers enter. He is beside Jenkins when Shirly returns just before the explosion.
