Thurman’s anti-cryo legislation outlawed commercial freezing of wealthy clients, according to Rhodes, who describes mass thawings and unsuccessful murder charges.
Charles Rhodes says Paul Thurman’s anti-cryo bill made the commercial freezing of wealthy clients illegal. In Rhodes’s account, a five-to-four court vote led to tens of thousands of frozen people being thawed and buried. Attempts to bring murder charges failed, he says, because those people had already been declared dead.
The bill is the legislation Rhodes identifies with the prohibition of commercial cryonic freezing and the subsequent thawings.
