Server Room

The fortified Server Room houses a concealed communications access and ladder; white mist is now pouring through its vents while the exit stays locked.

Story so far

The room is protected by the silo’s most heavily fortified door, originally requiring Bernard Holland’s card and a security code. It receives cool air from the down deep and sends server heat downward to warm the lowest levels. Beneath a movable floor grate, a hidden ladder leads to another area. An empty server contains the communications uplink and the locking handle for that ladderway.

Lukas experienced the room as a prison during his confinement, with the door automatically locking behind its occupants. On level thirty-four, it stands opposite the Cleaning Lab. More recently, Juliette explored beneath the floor grates at the bottom of the ladder.

Immediately after the remote caller orders a shutdown, white mist pours from the room’s vents. The exit into IT remains locked when Lukas enters his code.

Appearance

A heavily secured room of tall black computer cabinets, cooled by vents, with a concealed floor grate and ladder. White mist is now spreading from the vents.
