Jimmy depends on a flashlight during exploration and outages; he now takes one to bed after the lights fail.
Story so far
Jimmy wears down his flashlight’s batteries by repeatedly checking it, then conserves its dwindling power while exploring. The old light eventually becomes unreliable, blinking out unexpectedly. During an expedition into a flooded level, it falls into the water and goes out; he retrieves it ruined after mistaking bones for it.
A flashlight later reveals the bodies in the dark room off the cafeteria. After another failure of the lights, Jimmy takes his flashlight to bed.
Appearance
Its earlier beam became intermittent as the battery failed. The light dropped into the flood was ruined; the later flashlight’s physical design is unspecified.
Role
